As of right now my bark with its acid solution and sodium hydro in the warm bath for
2 hours I'm just wondering why there's a purple layer

Its tricky to know...but it looks like it needs a lot more NaOh in there...the mix should be almost black.

I used enough sodium hydroxide my soultion is black id say?

So theres no more purple layer just a clearer layer i think its safe to start pulling
