Hey guys Firstly I'd like to apologise if this has been answered before, I have done a fair amount of searching and can't find my answer but I don't think the search function on here is working properly for me so I could easily have missed it, also I'm not sure I'll ever have time to read through all 194 pages of posts in this thread o_O but I'll try and be succinct.

I've been using what is essentially Noman's Tek but without the ammonia wash, I roll the containers about 8 seperate times and I leave the solvent (white spirit in this case) in the freezer for at least three days.
I've done this once before in the past and yielded great results, about 4.9something grams from 500g mhrb, pure white crystals.
This time however I leaft it in a friend's freezer and returned three days later to find almost nothing! about 2 or three hits worth in total formed on the inside of the lids of the jars. There are two differences between this and my last extraction which may have caused a problem; firstly I realised after having already mixed everything that my scales were dodgey, having since bought new ones and weighed what I had leaft I've worked out that I used slightly more Lye and slightly less mhrb than I meant to, about 20-30g out with either i think. Secondly I'm using a freezer that's running on electric from a coin meter and it's possible the power to it hasn't been constant, however the jars did have a layer of frost on the outside of them when I checked them, they have ice packs rested against them for added measure and all the food thats also in there is frozen.
So I ask do the ratios need to exact in order to yield anything? could my mistake have been enough to yield nothing at all? (A point of note here is that I'm using a 4.5ltr Demi-john with 200g mhrb in and another 2ltr glass cider bottle with 100g in, and when working out how much out my other scales had been i couldn't determine in which, if not both, of the containers the mistake had been. The solvent from each was kept seperate but both have yielded nothing.)
and also does the solvent need to be a particular temperate below freezing for the DMT to crystalise? could the food and water in there be frozen and yet it still not be cold enough?

I still have 200g mhrb left and am wondering whether to start over with that or keep trying with what I have already done. The white spirit does seem to be very cloudy but it just won't crystalise!! any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks very much.
