Hello, SWIM has been making cactus resin for sometime and SWIM has now some that has a significantly larger amount of nausea. SWIM is thinking that perhaps not all the cactus fats are extracted. Is it possible that the temp. during the reduction stage was too low, so not all the cactus fats precipitated to the top? lastly if SWIM wants to try and remove more fats, is it possible to throw the gel caps in some hot water and re-reduce or will the gel cap material add excess shit to the final product.

Different cacti have different compounds in them. You probably just got a strain that produced nausea. Best way to avoid is to process the resin into a cleaner extract.
