Nice xtals! You say nothing much to say about them but it would be nice if you shared your technique on how you grew these xtals, solvent etc Smile

Nothing special. This is from a re-X precipitated in a small glas dish.

No problem. I used Cyb's salt tek. Then re-Xtalised once with hot naphta and freeze precipitated fpr about 18 hours.

Maybe I should say that those Xtals are tiny. I just used strong magnification (about 300x) for the pics. I reality those Xtals are about 1mm in size. Pleased Nothing compared to those in allonetod's avatar pic.

if i had those xtals, id dissolve them in warm bestine and do a slow evap!!!!

And bestine is the comercial name for which solvent? Heptane?

yeah bestine is heptane, marketed as rubber cement thinner, found at most corporate art and craft store..

Here are some pics from today. That's the first pull from cyb's tek but a bit modified. Instead of pulling hot, I let the solution cool down to about 30°C and then pulled with 120 ml naphta. The first pull yielded 0,330g of those...

Great formations Steppa...

Try cooling the mix to room temp and pulling with Hot naphtha...(should help loads) Wink
