Question on brewing formyahuasca Options

I'll be conducting my first brew within a week using acacia confusa root bark and syrian rue seeds. I think I have found a reliable recipe which calls for cooking 4-8 hours, but reading other reports on the Internet people claim to simply pour boiling water over the powder or only cooking for 30 mins and still having strong experiences. My question is how much does the cooking times effect potency for both materials?

you want to cook it only long enough to dissolve the dmt out of the plant.

its akin to dissolving salt in water, or infusing oil.

30 mins is sufficient, i personally go with lower heat (for no particular reason, as long as the DMT is salted, it can handle some heat), so i do around 45 mins. 3 sometimes 4 (depending on color change) boils.

filter well and combine (as in the boils, not the acacia and the rue, but you can do that too if you want) then reduce.
