I don't think you can freeze precipitate in limo, you have to salt it out of the solvent.

before going to fridge limo was clear.


D-limonene will stay liquid above -75ºC, so if the solvent you are using is pure, most likely the crashed solids are plant waxes you had in your mimosa reduction that have been pulled into the limo along with the goodies. Just think of most vegetable oils, like olive oil... if you chill them enough, some of the waxes and estearates will start to solidify visibly, while the oil itself will not freeze until it reaches lower temperatures.

Keep in mind there's many good reports using vegetable oils like sunflower as well, in case limonene does not prove to be cheap or clean enough.
