Hello friends. I have a hypothetical question regarding changa. I have read all I could find on the subject, so if this question has been asked before then it is due to my incompetence rather than laziness Smile

Suppose somebody was interested in making a changa mix, and had some caapi leaf and 8 other types of herb/leaf to experiment with. There are obviously many different combinations of these herbs (255 to be precise), and having to make a whole batch every time one wanted to try a different blend would either require making very small batches or very few blends.

It occurred to me that it would be much more efficient to infuse only the caapi and to mix this with the herbs. For example, if 2 parts dmt were infused into 1 part caapi, then this could be used as a base for adding other herbs. adding another part of mixed herbs into the infused caapi would therefore give a 1:1 blend of which 50% of the leaf was caapi. This would allow a lot more experimentation, as a new blend could be created for each smoke if desired.

This could of course be taken further if one wanted to vary the amount of caapi in the final blend by having a few different batches of infused caapi of different concentrations. Or, even more efficiently, having a single batch of infused caapi at the lowest ratio desired, and adding additional caapi as part of the blend. E.g. mixing 4 parts dmt to 1 part caapi, and making the other 3 parts from other leaves would give a 1:1 mix with 25% of the leaf caapi. But those other leaves added could of course include caapi, so any desired % of caapi in the leaf above 25% could be achieved.

Which leads to my question (actually 2 questions):

Firstly, is this likely to have any qualitative difference in the smoking experience? I know many people do not infuse blue lotus but add it after so I don't see why this can't be extended.

And secondly, is there a limit to how much dmt could be infused into a given amount of caapi? e.g. would 4 parts dmt to 1 part caapi be possible?

Does anybody make their changa this way already (whoops, that's three questions!)

Again, apologies if I'm repeating an old topic.

Lots of love

HPxx
