Tepezcohuite powder? Options

I was under the impression that Tepezcohuitze was the same as Mimosa Hostilis. However I tried to do an extraction of this powdered bark i got with Lye-Naptha to freezer with no crystals yielded on two attempts. I was going to throw it away thinking its bunk, but I don't want to waste it if I can use it, it wasn't easy to get. The bark says that it's sterilized, which shouldn't make a difference, but I wasn't sure. With no yield I'm thinking it might be. Has anyone else had this problem and if so am I just SOL or can I salvage this? Thanks.

To my understanding Tepezcohuite is the same as mhrb. Does it look like mhrb? Post pictures if possible and dont throw anything away.

Afaik, tepezcohuitze indicates M. tenuiflora bark, not necessarily root bark.

Yes, what they sell as Tepezcohuite (mexican name for M. Tenuiflora/Hostilis) is MH tree bark, not root bark. No significant reported DMT content. It's used for cosmetics and skin treatment.

Edit: Incorrect. There are quite a few reports of DMT content in Mimosa Tenuiflora tree bark, see this thread. Apologies.

The issue wasn't with it being tenuiflora (tenuiflora is the accepted name for hostilis), but rather the fact that the label "tepezcohuite" does not indicate root bark Wink

That's it. It's probably the tree bark. It smells like mimosa hostilis powdered bark. I didn't even think about that. Well does anyone know how to extract DMT from MH Bark?

I think the point is the MH bark doesn't contain much if any DMT to start with, you can't extract what isn't there. That would be synthesis.

Secondly you state the product was "sterilized", which could mean extreme temperatures or other chemical washes that could have washed anything you are interested in away.

I've had a vendor pull a bait and switch on me with MHRB for MHB. Sucks, but I think this day and age the DEA has won for the time being Sad we are in a droubt, and unless you were one of the cool kids in high school your out of luck. Or live in an area where you can grow your own.

Hopefully information on Acacia extractions will get better, before Big Brother decides that has to stop as well.

I recently had a similar experience where I picked up this Tepezchuite Powder and it yielded no results after four naphtha pulls. I too had the marking Sterilized on the package. Looks like Acacia Confusa will be rightfully taking its place in the extraction history pages for the time being.
