I ran into the same problem recently, I accidentally put in WAY too much. Unfortunately nobody had an answer for the taste. I just drank the vinegar.

If neutralizing doesn't work (I tend to suspect it won't), you could try adding a few liters of plain water, and cook it back down again. I'm not sure that this would dilute the flavor, but it might.
