lex tek suggests the use of a muslin cloth to filter out fine bark particles. Is it best to use this method at this stage in the extraction? Or is there a better filtering method and is it better to do it later?

I have a bit of vodka and I have read somewhere that adding ethanol/vodka early to the extraction helps improve yields. Can this be included to the lex extraction, and when would it be done?

Any other tips to improve this tek would be appreciated?
