2 questions with this one. I have a picture to show, but it's not great quality tbh.

Ok so earlier, I found out my glass baster has broken apparently, and my car is in the shop right now and all the room mates are gone, so I can't go get a new one at the moment. I decided to just make some haggard little contraption to suck up the naphtha in my jar. I basically just got a bottle of vinegar that had only a small amount left in it, poured it all out, shook it hard til I could see none left, then got a pen covered in toilet paper to dry it out more on the insides. I then made a small hole in the top so that I could fit some small tubing through it, so I could put the tube in the naphtha layer, squeeze the bottle and let it inflate drawing in naphtha then I'd pour it into a glass jar to save.

Anyway, when I got some of the naphtha into the bottle, it became more cloudy, I'm thinking there was maybe a drop or so left of vinegar in it? Idk, but it looked perfectly dry when I looked in it, or maybe it could be from when I blew inside it real quick to get a small piece of toilet paper out, so could it be a little water from the condensation from blowing in it?

Is this going to be a problem?

Also, my second question, I've been doing this STB with the same jar I've been using all this time, but for some reason no matter how much I agitate the naphtha/bark mix, the naphtha will barely change color, I've always heard the yellow is the DMT saturating the naphtha, and I got this bark from a very reputable vendor who's known for having high yielding bark.

Not sure about the first question but i know that the naphtha does not have to be yellow when you pull.It can still be clear,I think the yellow means you have plant oils in your naptha along with Spice

Ok, yeah I guess it would be kinda silly of me to think that it not being yellow means it's not getting much spice. It's just I've always heard yellow naphtha associated with DMT in it. Basically though I used a vinegar bottle to get the naphtha up and it turned a little cloudy looking, from very very pale translucent yellow to very very pale cloudy yellow.

the yellow is not an indicator of dmt.. its probably the plant oils and fats... if you've defatted the solution or the plant material already has very little fats then it won't be coloured....it'll just cloud up when it cools down. and thats a good thing it means you'll likely have some nice white spice

No I'm saying once it got into the bottle contraption from the vinegar bottle, it got more clouded up, almost like it mixed with some water or something, but saw that the inside was dry, I mean I'm sure if it was dry enough that I couldn't see any drops of vinegar in that bottle then it shouldn't be enough to ruin any of what I pulled even if the naphtha did get more cloudy a little after it got into that bottle? I get really concerned about little things with these extractions lol

Ok well nvm, I think the problem solved itself, turns out over night it ended up returning back to the clear, slightly yellowish tint it had before. I think I just salted out a very small amount of it from probably like a drop of vinegar that might've still accumulated in the bottle cuz I poured out the naphtha from the jar I had it in, and there was some very small amberish bubbles at the bottom that smelled like DMT.
