Before I get bashed talking about the thread, bare with me. I went through that thread and all the links, plus searched everything I could on the net/here, and couldn't find my answer. I am really hoping someone could chime in and tell me if this is good d-Limonene to use for Q212121's A/B extraction tek.

It's called Golden Glo(w?) wood polish.. On the back, it just says d-Limonene and Mineral Oil, I tried looking up a medical sheet but couldn't find one on google.

Any help is greatly appreciated.. Excited, have everything else I Need besides the d-Limonene(unless this is it).

If I do the evaporation test, if it evapes cleanly, this would be alright to use?

I presume you are talking about Orange Glo wood polish, or the Golden Oil made by the same manufacturer.

If so, this is the MSDS data sheet for Golden Oil, and for Orange Glo available in their website. According to this, the cold pressed orange oil (limonene) content is 5-10%, the rest being petroleum distillates and "mineral oil". That seems to make it non-suitable for extraction.

In any case, limonene does not evaporate cleanly. It leaves oily residues behind. That's why evapping does not work with limonene, you have to salt it out once pulled.

Mineral oil can or cant be nasty stuff. It is in baby oil to paint stripper and its really just a general term for many different possible chems. I would not use that shit sounds like a bad idea.
