Hi Nexus

I got a load from a pull off 500g mimosa I did a couple months ago sitting on my table here in front of me. I did a wash with sodium carbonate and distilled water before evaporating back then, problem was it didn't separate well, and the end result was a bodge job, giving me a sludge that I couldn't get out of the pan from the freezer. Other annoying bits and bobs also got it that ruined the product.
I salvaged what I could and it looks like cheesecake biscuit base, kinda brown and not completely dry, still a little sticky in parts. I let it sit un cut, hard and blob-like in my fridge until this morning. On the table here after using a razor in front of me I estimate about 800mg.
Last night I did another run with 250g mimosa and it looks a lot better. I skipped evap and went straight to freeze precip, the results when I filtered and dried look promising. The crystals from this run are whiter but still with a lot of brown in, they're drying on the coffee filter paper now. Theres definitely a good smell coming from the old and new batch.
What should I do? I could recrystalise the batches together if that would work, or try a different method. Never done an ammonia wash before, wouldnt know where to get it in my country.
Tak
