So SWIM just did their first extraction using normans tek, they took there jars out of the freezer and poured the naptha out and was left with a lot of crystals all over the jars. SWIM scraped it all out (pain in the ass because used the little mason jars) and got crystals and a lot of yellow brown gunk which SWIM believes is plant mater and other waste from using bad separation technique. Should SWIM throw that stuff away or just gather everything and clean it with a wash?

is there any way for SWIM to get all the stuff out of the jar as it is pretty hard in SWIM's container as it has a lip?

SWIM used 1lb of mhrb and did 2 pulls, about to do 2 more.

Does SWIM just let the wet crystals sit until the naptha evaporates?

Swim isnt sure if he should clean that gunk too or just the crystals or neither.

Yeah recrystallize the gunk, instructions in the FAQ. That way any DMT in it will be recovered. Next time you can do a sodium carbonate wash before freezing to eliminate the mimosa gunk

As for how to get the stuff out, you can try to scrape as much as possible with a knife or similar, and whatever you cant get out, use some warm naphtha or IPA or acetone or ethanol to redissolve it, and evaporate it in a wide pyrex dish which you can easily scrape with a razor or a "glass-scraper" sold in hardware stores.
