Forgive me if this is no the right place to post this, but I've been working with my soxhelt lately for floral wax extraction with pet ether... Lots of fun...
But I've been wondering what else I can do with this equipment. Never took a day of chemistry mind you. But I would be curious if there are any methods for extraction of caapi leaf and mhrb with the sox. Any thoughts and methods for someone who is primarily an oil extractor?

Right... Any fun methods that can be applied to spice extraction? It would definitely be helpful in making a 10x caapi leaf extract.

more tedious

it's wonderful for making sublingual extracts, perhaps an aya blend.
for spice extraction in general, jars with vinegar in a pressure cooker, 40 mins.

that would be the starting point of any a/b extraction for alkaloids that are not heat-labile.
