Which one is more acidic? I know distilled (white) is available in different dilutions. Wikipedia (yeah, I'm really sick, and don't have the energy to do good research) says that the ph of ACV is 4.5 - 5. Distilled is 2, but I don't know what that translates to, due to the dilution.
ACV is sold unfiltered sometimes. You would definitely want filtered, if it would work at all. Vinegar is pretty cheap. Maybe you even have a friend who would loan you some.
