This is my first post on this forum, though I've been lurking for a while.

Finally finished today my first DMT extraction. I've been dreaming about it for years and how wow, finally there. However, I have a few questions.

So I did Q21Q21 tek, using lime and d-limonene. Finished off by mixing my pulls with vinegar (2 times) and then boiling the vinegar out on the stove (minimum fire). Then, when I only had 20-30ml I put it in a pyrex bowl in the oven at 80-100C with the door open.

For the first pull, the result was this light brown, not too gooey material. I scraped it all off - 1.1gr. The second pull wasnt so evaporated, so it turned out more gooey and darker in colour - 0.4gr. I even managed to press it into a brown ball.

So this is DMT-acetate, the jimjam? How is my yield? I was expecting 0.5gr of material from 50 grams of MHRB, but I got 1.5 in the end. What would be the dose in my case? And is the machine the best way to smoke it? How would I put the goo in the steel wool?

if you heated it enough while evaping your vinegar/water then this goo will be freebase Jimjam.

3% yield is good. you could try to clean it up but im not sure how.

i infuse my Jimjam into mullien and then vape that in a GVG. If you cant afford a GVG then a machine should do the job or just a bong if you infuse your Jimjam into a herb.

Why should I try and clean it up? How would that affect the experience?
Could I use other herbs in the mix? And how would I mix them?

You can use any herbs you want. I infuse dmt into herb by dissolving the dmt in isopropyl alcohol and then soaking the herbs in it and letting it evap. As for dosage and cleaning, I've never cleaned my jimjam and never measured a dose, I just load a bunch into the machine and hit til I can't hit anymore... which certainly works, lol, but others recommend measuring a dose.

My first infused leaf was on a 1:4 mix of damiana and passionflower. Very effective, although I added harmala alkaloids to the mix as well (highly recommended/imperative.) Mullein is commonly used as it is said to be smooth on the lungs. Pau D'arco is also pretty common. Add some peppermint if I'm not mistaken. Get creative. It's fun and rewarding. Different herbs impart more personality than one might think possible.
