Just wondering if anyone here has ever experimented with Acacia Tumida, from north Western Australia.
Going to do an extraction, but cannot find a decent grinder in this town, so will just be putting ~500g of finely cut bark pieces into a 5L old motor oil container with a NaOH mixture to break down the bark over a week or two. Have other people tried this method?
Also will try the Acacia Colei which I have only read random threads on with no real conclusion.
And one more Acacia I can't identify anywhere, will post photos but unlikely you guys know it, seems to be only here in the East Kimberleys.

you could also try soaking it in ethanol or methanol if you cant get it fine.. thatl effectively get the alks out if theyre in there

and then do a mini a/b on the ethanol/methanol?
