hey guys I am currently extracting some acacia branch and stem bark. I have been going through a long process over the past 5 hours of boiling the stems with the bark on them and peeling it off when they soften. I am about halfway there but its going to take many hours longer by the looks of it and my fingers are really hurting under my nails from doing so much peeling. which brings me to my question... would the boiling acidic water be able to pull the dmt salts out of the bark when its still attached to the wood? or will i need to separate the bark from it and then grind. this is the last of my acacia material so want to get as much as i can

..if the material is still reasonably fresh (less than 6 months), then the alkaloids can be drawn out into solution using heat and time..
the larger the sections of material, the longer it will need boiling..so probably at least a few hours or more..but much of the alkaloid is within the capillary tissue, and can draw out..
