Wondering if SWIM can take NN spice extracted with toluene, dissolve in naptha, and freeze precipitate. Or should SWIM just extract with naptha and precipitate?

Yes you can recrystallize with naphtha. Check the FAQ for detailed instructions.

Im not sure of shaggy tek but any of the teks in our wiki, if correctly performed, will yield a similar product. There is no "better' spice, dmt is dmt.

SWIM has tried both gold and red jungle, prefers red jungle because seems to have more 5 MEO in the red spice. However has never tried white spice.

SWIM interested in trying new teks, SWIM does great with shaggy's tek and product is clean. SWIM will try Q21 tek 2 with lime and vinegar to see if SWIM likes that tek / product. Just was hoping could crystallize because SWIM has never tried crystallized spice. Thanks for the info.

spice is spice, true. It's nice to hear different opinions as to why one prefers certain teks/product/result. "Better" probobly isn't the best word. The term is subjective though and would be interesting to hear why one would maybe consider it "better" to them. SWIM just needs to find out on his own what he thinks is "better" after trying different teks. Any opinions or input is appreciated though.

It is a misconception that red jungle has 5-MeO-DMT.. Mimosa hostilis does not have any 5-MeO-DMT to begin with, so it cannot be there in an extract.

Red jungle is mostly DMT, with a small amount of other alkaloids which might or might not affect the psychoactivity of DMT (and its hard to say which because people know beforehand they are smokign a product that looks different so the expectations may well be whats responsible from thinking it has different effects, also because these other alks are present only in very very small quantities)

Yes no problem freeze precipitating spice extraced using toluene by redisovling in naptha and sticking in the freezer. But if you want to grow nice big xtals the slower you do it the bigger your xtals will be. The xtals you get from freeze pricipitating will all be very, very small. Try this for big xtals.
1. Freeze precipitate from naptha. This will give you loads of very, very small pure white xtals.
2. Redisolve again in a the smallest amount of naptha that will disolve your spice a room temp but keep a small xtal aside to use as a seed xtal.
3. let sit for a couple of hours and drop the seed xtal in.
4. let it sit and watch your xtal grow.
5. it is important for the solvent to evaporate very slowly. You can even add a tiny bit of new solvent if it evaporates too much or have the container closed so it won't evaporate at all.

The seed crystal will attract the spice in solution to it and grow as more spice bonds with it. This is how I have grown the big stegasaurus shaped xtals before.
