I want to make Jungle Spice. Im planning on using tuolene and letting it evaporate into the yellowish crystal. Do I HAVE to separate alkoloids after that? or could i just smoke the yellow crystal? oh and is there a measured amount of tuolene I should use as people do in napthane extracts?

You can just evap toluene and smoke whats left (I dont think results will be yellow crystal, more like red wax)

But evapping toluene is nasty, I recommend salting out and then converting to the freebase.. You can do the FASW method or do it with vinegar, and convert to freebase, like BLAB tek acetate-conversion part. This will save you the solvent which you can reuse, and no need to evaporate nasty toluene, just evap the vineger/FASW salting on low fire/simmering and add sodium carb once water is almost evapped, makign a paste, letting it air dry completely and then pulling with acetone, IPA or non-denatured ethanol.

As for amounts, you can use similar sized pulls but no need for so many pulls (like, say, you could do 100ml toluene x 3 per 200g mimosa)

You dont have to further separate alkaloids to smoke, but if you do want to separate the alkaloids as most as possible to have your DMT in one place, and a bit of DMT with a lot of the other alks in another place, then best thing to do is to do FASA on your toluene, wait a few days, collect all your DMT fumarates that precipitated. Then add more FASA to see if anything crashes out. When nothing more crashes out, wash that with water 2 or 3 times, and evaporate the water. The evaporated water will have excess fumaric acid, a bit of DMT fumarate and other alkaloids in fumarate form, while the precipitated alkaloids you have retrieved before will be nearly pure DMT fumarate with a tiny bit of other alkaloids.. They all can be freebased to smoke as BLAB tek describes.
