Hey this is SWIM's first post. So SWIM has made very nice spice using Shaggys updated jungle tek. SWIM's first pull using toluene came out blonde crumble after evapped and dried. Second batch came out reddish brown crumble, maybe due to more agitation used in 2nd batch. Washed in toluene cause acetone smells bad. SWIM Tried to re-x in toluene but did research on site and found that hexane or heptane may be best to take the dried crumble form to dissolve and freeze to turn to crystal form which from what SWIM hears is more pure and stronger which is basically what SWIM is trying to achieve with his first successful extraction of jungle spice. Wants to turn the crumble to pure crystal, hopefully will be more potent like elf spice from acacia. SWIM much appreciates any help or advice, ratios, etc.. Thanks!
