Hiya,

So i have 500g hawaii mckenna vine from maya ethnibotanicals and 100g hawaiian mckenna chakruna leaves from maya also. Brewing both tonight as we speak. Heres my methodology...

Added 500g vine to stainless steel pot a
Added 100g chakruna leaf to stainless steel pot b

Added distilled water with 2 tbsp distiled white vinegar per gallon to fully cover the pots....added more water as it cooked down during each of three washes..

Performed 3x3hours full washes of both vine and leaf in seperate pots....brought each pot to a boil and then immediatley backed off heat to keep it at a simmer just below a bubbly boil.... Stirred frequently!

Combined 3 washes of vine and leaf into large vine and leaf containers. Will let these sit out overnight and decant. Will reduce both vine and leaf seperately tomorrow night. Goal is 500g vine to 500mL vine finished tonic.....and 100g chakruna to 200mL chakruna finished tonic..

So far so good after 3 washes. Currently cleaning up and letting liquids decant for night. Will reduce tomorrrow night. Whatchya think? Tips?

Planning on starting with 50mL (50g) caapi vine and 10mL (5g) chakruna leaf per dose. Will start with 1 dose and go to 2 at 45 mins if effects not felt enough... Will go to 3 doses if still not feeling effects after another 1 hour!

In regard to your self-reply: That doesn't sound like respectful and safe use. Ayahuasca isn't a party drug to get 'fucked' on. It's a brew used for many centuries by shamans for spiritual voyages of them and their village. Instead of drugs like cocaine and ecstasy, hallucinogens are substances/drugs to explore your own mind. They provide insights and lessons which you can use to improve yourself.

This kind of behaviour is frowned upon here on the Nexus. We don't use these substances to brag about, we use them for different purposes. Please drop the 16 year old 'Look at me, I'm doing drugs!' attitude please, it's not good for you.

To fix this since I couldn't figure out how to delete my double post, I just edited it to read Fuck I'm high. Indicated I had fucked up and accidentally double posted. Forgive my itchy clicking finger.

I could care less about your internet scolding. I'll just call you "mom" from now on buddy. LOL. I've gotten about everything I wanted here already (cooking instructions)...perhaps the insights about not chiding others and worrying about your self and your own place in this world were already lost on you VoidTraveler. Perhaps it is you who should start from square 1 and really evaluate your own self-promoting style and why you feel the need to scold others or tell them how to act.

I don't know if I've ever gotten involved in one of the many contentious debates that continually arise on this site, because I deeply value my reputation here and I want to remain respected as a humble, knowledge-seeking individual with a desire to help others and learn from those who know more than myself.

However, this quote struck a deep nerve in my spirit. I'm a very private person who very rarely "connects" with those in my day-to-day life. The nexus may have started out for me as a place to find amazing information (such as cooking instructions), but it has evolved into so much more than that. Now days, I view this place and its members as an extended family and sacred sanctuary.

I don't want to fill this thread with negative energy, but you have a lot of introspective thought to complete before you continue posting in this special place. Most of the people who post here on a regular basis have had their butts handed to them in another dimension, and thus treat these tools/sacraments with the utmost respect and love. Profanity is frowned upon here in general, especially when it is used to describe/refer to the mystical states facilitated by these plant spirits we cherish.

I'm not trying to act like your "internet mom". I'm only trying to give you the advice and tools necessary to be able to continue posting and learning from this amazing place.
