Mescaline acetate will not "set up" and remains syrupy (like dmt acetate), whereas one might expect it to become "sticky", but fairly "dry" (easily formed into a ball for example). I am afraid someone was not thinking

, and used limo which had been previously used with mimosa. The limo had been pulled on at least 4X when it was in contact with mimosa.
Could a very small amount of left-over dmt acetate in the solvent cause this, and if so, might I use mek to isolate the mesc out of this syrup?
