Come on team
I saw one source, can't remember just where (some google book or something) where this was done with A/B extraction after an alcohol extract was made. I looked further and saw the toxic reasons for making one want to extract, and not just make tea:
http://books.google.com/...nepage&q&f=falseThere's got to be a nice simple way of fermenting to break down the oxalates, then separating the good from the bad like some arch angel of light would do. There are some irritants in the plant that don't sit so well.
I think it could be plausible that a food grade extraction be in order for someone with an abundance of Daffodil type plant inhabitants in order to make a connection with the spirit world. If we can remember our trips in our sleep we can trip half of our lives!
All I can do is read what is written, which I'm doing. It would be nice if I could do some chromatography of stages of the extraction. Anyone done anything like this?
I suppose a Huperzine A or B plant like Lycopodium Spp. that the druids used would work too but those also seem to have a similar toxicity goin on. One of these bush spirits gave healing songs to Papua New Guineans. Maybe all cholinergic drugs are good to consider if a simple ally is to be found. If convenience is the only issue one which can be simply grown would be good. But would something like Lobelia compete with these hard-core "drugs" such as Daffodil and Lycopodium?
