Thank you to all Nexians from SWIM! Much help and learning has come from you. Here are a couple pics as thanks. This was obtained from Noman's Tek, using 100g MHRB, 1800mL h2o, and 115g of lye. The solvent was VM&P Naptha, then freeze precipitated. Over the course of some time SWIM has seen three overlooked points in the STB process that really increase yields. 1) MHRB purity and quality is the most important. After several sources, SWIM has noticed significant difference from Meridian Botanicals. Make sure your product you start with is quality. 2) Solvent; the cleaner the better. Recycling is good, but more than likely compacts the spirit molecule when doing 'pulls'. And look for better products than KleanStrip (USA). 3) FILTERED WATER! Try it. It will improve your end result. Again thanks to all of The Nexus! Love smri attached the following image(s): IMAG0217.jpg (1,115kb) downloaded 222 time(s). That looks like a very respectable and clean yield,(looks a bit slushy though), you don't mention if it's a freeze precip. or just evaporation. Have you tried it yet?
Thanks for sharing.

Put it under a fan for couple hours and it should get dry....

Again thanks to all of The Nexus! Love SWIM's recent yields look very similar to that. Would you mind telling me, if possible, how much you yielded overall?

Sorry, you did mention that it was a freeze precip.

Overall, 2.2g. However, only 1g from that pic of whiteness. The pulls afterwords were increasingly more jungly.

Very nice It does look slushy there but I'm sure you've dried it out by now and it's nice snowy powder Joined at the soul with a pair of headphones

Yes; completely dried before weighed. And I never fan dry, just a slow evaporation to dry.

Hehe, well of course; but the yield will look significantly less...someone had to try it right? The pic is bout .5g from the first g of pure whiteness. The g or so after is more amber than white. Also, still pulling from the MHRB recieved from Meridian Botanicals; although less white this stuff is such a quality product. And no; I am in no way affiliated with that company. Should be able to bust 3% by the time its over. I feel lotsa wind could oxidize the drying spirits, or at the very least blow more contaminants and particles on or from the drying product. smri attached the following image(s): IMAG0223.jpg (855kb) downloaded 80 time(s).
