The following post has a lot of unnecessary information. As I has not written an intro essay it includes the these things I've heard so as to give the readers a cursory feeling of things I've heard from animals about their attempts and knowledge I've accrued from 'keeping my ear to the ground'.
So, with that said.....
TL;DR - Has anyone come up with a way to extract jungle spice that does not require the evaporation of xylol/xylene?

Hello everyone,
This is my first post, although I have lurked for some time, here and on other forums.
SWIM has had many experiences with both DMT, Jungle Spice (separated from DMT the best SWIM could manage), and the chemicals mixed. SWIM prefers them separated because they produce (i SWIMs o) very different experiences and the knowledge gained from each is, to SWIMS mind, distinct.
Unless there have been recent breakthroughs SWIM is unaware of, jspice continues to be a mystery substance(s). SWIM has had experience with both the dark red sticky type, and more commonly, the yellow/orange (partially color blind so difficult for SWIM to tell) waxy type.
SWIMs favorite extraction technique so far (due to yield) for DMT runs something along these lines.
***
30 grams citric acid / 500gm mimosa / 1 gallon water boiled for a number of hours in a pressure cooker.
Solution transferred to gallon glass jar or HPDE bottle (usually jar for wide mouth)
Concentrated solution of sodium hydroxide is added, and due to lack of anything beyond rudimentary chemistry knowledge, SWIM usually adds 1g of sodium hydroxide per gram of root bark (500gm). This may not be necessary since this isn't a straight to base tek but SWIM does it anyway to be safe due to aforementioned reasons.
Next Xylene is added for non polar extraction.
Then a basic FASA precipitation reaction is conducted.
From here SWIM usually converts back to freebase with baking soda, then extracts DMT with hot naptha and freezes (ect), dries remaining chemicals and extracts jspice with xylene which is evaporated.

SWIMs question...... Has anyone come up with a way to extract jungle spice that does not require the evaporation of xylol/xylene? It is simply, a nasty substance. Even in well ventilated areas sometimes produces headaches and unnecessary scents that can be detected in neighborhood settings. But SWIM dearly misses jungle spice..... If any fellow travelers can help SWIM would appreciate it greatly!

A/B: Acid soak >>> basify >>> Limonene nps >>> acetic acid salt >>> double boil jungle acetates until vinegar smell disappears >>> jungle freebase. thanks snozzle.
@ endlessness, no, the naptha was used to remove dmt leaving jungle spice / excess sodium bicarbonate residue, which would be extracted with xylene again then evaporated. i'm just trying to avoid the evaporation step.
but, many thanks for the links. SWIM hasn't followed the chemistry about jungle spice since the first noticeable waves of posts emerged. SWIM will be reading with great interest.
