Wondering how SWIM can add a base to an acidic soulution during an ATB exersise without spice sticking to plastic / glass container...

Not sure what you're asking - alks don't stick to anything at that point.
Just dissolve your base in water and add it to the acidic solution until it goes slippy black and add 50% more; then extract with NP solvent.
