Ok so I used the search tool and I couldn't find the answer to my Q.... yes I am sure some one has asked it but I cant find it at all. =(

Ok so after a long while of thinking on what SWIM is going to do, she has decided to try a recommendation and use the Q21Q21 tek.

She has 1 question regarding this tek, after you add the Ca(OH)2 to convert to a freebase and when you add solvent ( naptha) to obtain said freebase, it says to stir? Is she supposed to stir the naptha into the "mush" or does she just stir the naptha to create movement over the mush with out mixing the mush and the solvent up?

Stir the naptha into the mush so it makes as much contact with the mush as possible. When it comes to pouring it out, the naptha will easily flow out of the mush. Just make sure when you tilt the dish to pour it out that the mush doesn't fall out into your collection dish. It might be useful to pat down the mush slightly so it is a bit more solid. :-)

Your dmt is IN the mush, so you obviously need to stir the naptha INTO the mush to pick it all up.

yes your bark may absorb a lot of the solvent, What i found works really great is place a bandanna in a bowl pour your mush in the bandanna and squeezed the mush in a ball as tight as you can trying to get as much solvent out, it might be a little dirty but can easily be cleaned later.
Good luck and hope it helps. Smile

The tek's wording has been altered to make this more clear.

SWIM has experienced this a lot with xylene and d-limonene but never with naptha.
Could be too little water in the mix. A wetter mix seems to create a clearer separation between the mix of d-limonene and bark.

A note has been made in the non-polar-wash step about this because this is not the first time SWIM has heard this despite never experiencing it himself.
Q21Q21's Tek: A comprehensive guide to extracting DMT
The 2 teks use non-toxic lime and vinegar and Tek 1: d-Limonene or Xylene or Tek 2: Naptha to produce very quick high yields with the greatest of ease.

I am almost never on this site anymore so I will likely not answer PMs
