Naptha? Options

I don't really understand naptha and what it is used for:

What does naptha do in the process of creating DMT?

What is a naptha pull? When are you supposed to do them (prefreeze or postfreeze)?

Are you supposed to let the naptha freeze with the solution(would it freeze)?

Thanks for any help.

Go to the FAQ section.

codeofomerta,

Read up on the subject matter. These forums are a goldmine of information. Read a whole bunch of different Teks. Study some posts on this site for a good hour and I'm certain most of your questions will be answered Smile

Ok I have done some reading on the topic. Can you correct me if I'm wrong on any of this:

Naptha "pulls" the freebase DMT from the solution. Then once the naptha evaporates(it does so quickly due to its low boiling point) only DMT crystals will remain.

A naptha pull is putting the naptha in with the solution then stirring calmly(mixing without shaking) while heating(only for the first and last pull) it and then removing the naptha.

No you don't let the naptha "freeze" with the solution you seperate it into another container. It wouldn't freeze in any normal freezer.

But now I have another question: is it naptha or naphtha? I've seen both, is it a spelling "mistake" or are they actually different things?

Naptha is a common typo of naphtha.

dont evap. place in freezer for 8 or 12 or 18hrs. the solvent doesnt freeze but cold naphtha cant hold much dmt at all so it all falls out as crystals.
