Greetings.
Swim has been carrying out a basic stb extraction. From 50gs of mrb swim has been getting yields of between .3 and .5. He decided to double up and has gone with 100 gs this time. It has been in the freezer now for 20 hours, no crystals have formed but there are cloudy trails in the naptha when disturbed. Is this a matter of patience? Should he just leave it in the freezer or should he evaporate some off and then freeze? He sees no reason why the naptha wouldn't be saturated as he followed his previous steps exactly.
Much love, thanks in advance

Tbh this sounds more like you've not added enough lye to the mixture.
Which has then allowed a very rubbish pull.
Throw it back in.
Add a teaspoon of lye.
Shake and leave.
Shake every 15 minutes then reextract and precipitate.
I'm sure that'll solve that issue.
However you could also turn the freezer down as low as you can. The colder the better.
Precipitation should be approx 12 to 18 hours.
I've had to leave it longer for acacia as it gloops more than powderises.

Naphtha will still hold a certain amount of DMT even at -20 °C. Maybe you just have too much naphtha to get crystals. You can instead just evaporate everything and then see how much is left. Then the spice cannot 'hide' anymore.
