And I used a fine strainer and a funnel for the intial 3 vinegar / distilled water cools but before I reduced the liquid I wanted to filter through a coffee filter with the funnel before I reduced . I let it sit on the counter for 3 hrs and settle . I’m down to the last bit of liquid before I get to the plant material that has clumped together at the bottom of the jar. My question is should I keep that clump at the bottom of the jar ? I don’t think it will filter much out of it because the filters get sediment and clog etc. just don’t want to accidently make a mistake. My logic tells me to toss it out but maybe I’m wrong ? Please advise keep or toss ?

IME there is still lot of magic in those sediments. I would keep it.

ALWAYS keep your bark. You can reuse it to get additional yield during a future extraction.
