Please don't talk about shipping extracts in the nexus, we only talk about shipping of live plants and seeds here. You can easily order rue seeds in the UK and extract yourself.

I am not aware of harmalas being controlled in the UK, but anyways you should check the list of class A,B,C,D drugs and see if harmalas are there. Then you can check this also:

Good luck either way

endlessness, thanks for the reference. Nither Harmala, Harmine or Syrian rue are on
the controled drugs list so i guess it is fine.
btw, i didnt think a question about legality will be a problem but will refrain in the future.

Possession of harmalas is legal in every EU country I think. Illegal in Oz where nearly everything apart from kangaroo sh*t is controlled by some regulation undermining basic human rights!
In all of reality there are not two. There is just the one thing. And I am that.

No, in the EU it is illegal in France. Apart from Australia and France, it is also a problem in Canada. People say that esphand seeds are still sold in middle-eastern stores in Canada. I would not be surprised if that were the case in France too, given the amount of inhabitants with North-African roots, and besides, there is a good chance that some syrian rue grows wild in places in France. I bet that it would love the natural conditions in Australia.

Here is what erowid says on the matter (https://www.erowid.org/chemicals/harmala/harmala_law.shtml):

Australia
The harmala alkaloids are listed in Australia's schedule 9 "prohibited substances", except in herbs containing less than 0.1 percent or in divided preparations containing 2 mg or less total harmala alkaloids per recommended daily dose for therapeutic use. See Australia's Poison Standard 2009. States in Australia may have additional regulations, e.g. Queensland lists harmaline and harmalol in "schedule 2: dangerous drugs" without any provision for low therapeutic doses: See Queensland's Drug Misuse Amendment Act 2008 (thanks z) (last updated Nov 22, 2009.)

Canada
Harmaline and Harmalol are schedule III in Canada. (Note: Canadian schedules are very different than U.S. schedules)

France
As of May 3, 2005, France added Banisteriopsis caapi, Peganum harmala, Psychotria viridis, Diplopterys cabrerana, Mimosa hostilis, Banisteriopsis rusbyana, harmine, harmaline, tetrahydroharmine (THH), haroml, and harmalol to the list of controlled substances. See France Control Ayahuasca Plants and Chemicals. Earlier, in Jan 2005, a Paris court of appeals determined that Ayahuasca is not considered a preparation of DMT and is therefore not a controlled substance.

I fear it is controlled under the 2016 psychoactive substances law. That is a blanket bam on all things that have a psychoactive effect that isn't on the exclusion list. Selling them or importing is a problem if caught. But only if they are a jobs worth. I got in trouble with kratom that way.

Same situation here OP. How did it go, did you manage to import without issue?

Syrian Rue seeds, as a traditional incense and folk medicine, should technically be excluded by the fine print of the 2016 act, but I don't think that would be easy to extend to extracts. It might be 'fun' to test out if one had the funds and a decent, committed lawyer at their disposal. The 2016 Psychoactive Substances Act is a despicable piece of legislation, but I'll have to leave it at that.

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

Vine & Rue are legal in the UK in any form.

MHRB is legal in the UK (In whole form) Shredded or powdered is classed as "Preparation" and it then becomes illegal.

Do not chance anything from other countries is my advise because customs do not know the law and you may have to go through a lengthy court process.
