Hey guys so i was recently at a festival having a great time. I had dropped a pill and was coming up on it. I was dancing around having a good time when someone i thought was cool offered me something in a vape, me not thinking straight and without checking took a hit. I took one inhale and all of a sudden it was like I was blasted off earth, like i was looking down at the festival, panicked i went to my friend and asked them to hold onto me, as I couldn't really stand properly. My eyes were closed for about 5 or 10 minutes, but when i came back around I was under the impression that I had just been to another dimension, ascended above the festival, looking down on the people below me. Now i didn't get any visuals that ppl describe on dmt, and can't even really describe what happened in words, all I know is for a brief moment i felt like GOD. I had a warm feeling in my head, my body felt fresh, i was ready to dance again and had a bit of a cotton like mouth. The next day I was quite freaked out as I had no idea what that guy gave me, it seemed as though he was getting off on me being completely blasted away from earth (plus Im a chick and he was some random guy, which made it extra scary at the time), and I have experienced a lot of things in my life like acid, ket, shrooms, pills, balloons but never anything like that. Is there any chance that could have been DMT from the experience I had. Peace and love to all, and fuck the freaks out there

Sounds very much like DMT. Very irresponsible behavior from the person who gave it to you without any warning.

DMT is an extremely powerful substance, which you probably know by now. It can be fun in a freaky way at first if taken casually but the experiences can turn dark quickly if it's not treated with respect.

When I first tried DMT I was looking for a new kind of high, but very quickly realized that this is something very different. It took me a while to find the proper humble attitude towards the medicine, but the more respect I have given to it, the more it has helped me to change for better.

How do you feel now?

While I'm a huge proponent and advocate for DMT, I'm still sorry that that happened to you. That's not the best context for one's first time entering hyperspace.

It does sound very much like a DMT experience to me as well, and I also don't condone the behaviors and actions of the individual that offered it to you.

I'm also curious as to how you presently feel.
