How to safely throw away the waste from an extraction? Options

I'm about to perform my first extraction, and would like to know about the practices for the safe neutralization and disposal of the waste that I will generate during the process.

Since most of the solvent can be reused, and it will end up evaporating, I guess that my main concern will be the mhrb soup.

Any best practices out there to neutralize the solution before throwing away into the drainage? Don't want to contribute to the chemical pollution with my "enlightenment" Smile

Thanks in advance!.

Make sure there's no solvent in the soup before dumping it down the drain. Hydrocarbons are bad for water supply.
