Hey psylepsy,

sounds like it's high time for you to quit opioids for good. I wish you all the strength in the world on this path!

As you may or may not know, giving medical advice goes against the dmt-nexus attitude, so please, talk to a doctor, and make them understand that you don't want another opioid to control withdrawal from the previous ones, if avoidable.

I am not medically educated in any way, so what follows may be wrong on many levels.

I'm not aware of any serious physiological problems associated with the use of LSD. There are no addiction mechanisms as with opioids, no physical withdrawal.

When used frequently, it can be destabilizing psychologically, alienating you from the world, your loved ones and yourself. How often one can safely trip is highly individual.

What dosages do you intend to take, how often, and for how long?
How long does the relief from your symptoms last after you take it?
How long does withdrawal last from those meds?
Do you need the LSD only to fight the addiction, or do you have some condition(s) that made you take opioids, that you want to continue treating with LSD after withdrawal is done?

there is no cure for the cure , going to the doctors i cant do that anymore im not white mouse for experimenting with medicaments ,
im already alienated from this world , im already destabilized psychologically it can be worst , no more my self long time ago

Don't worry psylepsy, you didn't make a mistake!

People responding *would* make a mistake by providing you specific medical advice, is what i was trying to say. I didn't mean to scold you, but to explain why we can't answer your question with yes or no - because it is a medical question. We can try to help you be informed though, and we would like to. (Not that i'm a representative in any way, but this is the spirit here)

I kind of understand how you feel about doctors. I agree that it would have to be pretty bad to be worse than where you're at now, so if you decided to just go ahead and try, i wouldn't blame you.

I don't know you, but i think you're not in the wrong place here. Please don't leave!

If you really *want* to leave, you have to PM The Traveler, the administrator and the only one with the power to delete accounts.

If you could provide answers to my specific questions, me and/or other people can give you better advice, albeit not really medical. There is a lot of experience with psychedelics gathered on this forum, also a lot of experience with addictions, and much love ❤️

My questions were:
- how long would you suffer if you were to go cold turkey?
- how long does relief from LSD last after use?
to get a picture of how often you'd have to take LSD and for how long. Which are important details when trying to write a good answer.
