Hi guys n gals,

As per the description, do you think the Dremel soldering torch (its like a very slightly more powerful jet lighter) with an adjustable flame, down to about 1/3rd inch dark blue, extending to 1 inch pale blue flame part (if you know what I mean) on its lowest setting.
This guy
It is possible to turn it lower than the flame in the picture.
Will this be OK for use with a GVG or could it be too hot? The last thing I wanna do is screw my new sparkley GVG over Crying or very sad . I will obviously test the distance and increase slowly until evap occurs..

Thanks People!

I have used this torch with the GVG, and it works very well. Although the flame might be bigger than your average torch lighter, it does not have a higher temperature.

It also works very well to attach the hot air tube/extender thingie, and use the torch like that.

The best thing about the dremel is that the flame never cuts out mid-hit, it is completely reliable.

Thanks very much for your reply!
Thats great to hear, and genius on using the pipe extender thingy, I will so trial that!
I do use my Dremel for quite a few things and agree about the reliability Thumbs up
Cheers friend!
