Hello, I have been trying to find some writings about how the Amazonian shamanistic traditions have interpreted the Ayahuasca visions but I am not finding a lot of material. Could any of you be so kind as to point me in the right direction?

Have a look into the writings of Gerardo Reichel-Dolmatoff.

Hi JAG,
This may be a good intro, even if not by an "Amazonian".

+1 for Antipodes of the Mind, it's probably the best resource as far as thoroughly exploring the visionary aspects.

Steve Beyer's Singing to the Plants is a worth looking into for the mysticism aspect as well.
