Hi all,

First off I know this is gonna seem basic to many on here and I have done lots of reading but I just want to clear some confusion I have regarding changa and enhanced leaf.

If I infuse 1000mg dmt freebase with 500mg caapi leaves and 500mg blue lotus, have I got a 1.1 blend and is this changa or enhanced leaf? Do I need to enhance my leave further with extracted harmalas or is it ok just to have the caapi in the blend?

Sorry if this seems a bit basic but i'm in info overload territory at the moment and can't get it clear in my head Wut?

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

Hi!

If you use the blend above you will have a 1:1 changa blend. Enhanced leaf is when you infuse DMT and an herb that does not contain an MAOI. It becomes changa when you introduce MAOIs into the mix. Caapi contains MAOIs. Hopefully this clears things up for you a bit.

Yes perfect, thank you. I was getting confused by further addition of harmalas and enhancing the caapi.

I do not think it is enough harmalas in those 500mg of caapi leafs to call it changa IMO (plus how much of plain leafs you will actually smoke in one go ? Few mg's ). You really need extracted harmalas. It is still enhanced leaf even it does contain a bit of MAOIs.

You have to use extract or make the leafs much stronger like 10x or more.

Yes, 10x caapi leaf would be much more effective but woody should be free to experiment with dosages of harmalas, especially if woody is new to changa.

Personally, I like to extract from Syrian rue.

You don't need to add extracted harmalas to changa as it is effective as an MAOI without adding harmalas as long as you use a good caapi source and 30-50% of your herbs is caapi.
