Also, SWIM has only ever made a minimal effort to keep limo off his evap dish, and has on multiple occasions seen it swimming around on top of the vinegar in the dish during evaporation. It has never caused an issue, ever - it just dries out like everything else.
You get plenty of active material without the wash, but the dosage is not standardized and many people have extremely variant results with the acetate goop.
