This is not dmt related whatsoever, i just happened to be lying in my bedroom, browsing the nexus, when a GIANT F#%$ING BEAR came crashing through my house, tearing it to pieces and stood face to face with me in my bedroom. Im not even kidding, i looked at it, it looked at me, i said go that way, and pointed down the hall, and thats what it did. It left a momento in one of the other bedrooms.

If this really happened, I don't even know what to say, but by your own account, "everything you say is fictional". So I find myself at a crossroads. I also know that bears will do crazy shit like burst into your house when you aren't home and tear cabinet doors off to get to food. Someone help me make sense of this! Big grin
May we continue to be blessed

From what I know of bears, that sounds like a totally plausible, and intense encounter. A mama bear and her cubs walked directly outside of my cabin the other night - a much more mellow experience than the one you described.

Wowzers! That is one for the scrapbook.

Pic of the poop it left behind or it never actually happened.

It's a scrapbookertoonity if ever I've seen one. I demand pics of the devastation!

Crazy stuff! It certainly puts a perspective on my fruit fly infestation.

Perhaps you can auction off the bear poop to pay for some of the damage repairs.

But more importantly, it's a great relief that you're physically unharmed.

You're lucky it wasn't a fox. A fox would just have laughed at you while looting your fridge.

When i was face to face with him in my bedroom, if i would have had a gun i wouldnt have taken the shot. All he needed was 1 step toward me, and its a pretty lucky shot if you can drop a bear this big instantly. Even point blank in the face, i couldnt be certain of the outcome.

That's a great juxtaposition in the photo - bear poop, chaos and the two book titles.

Hope you've survived the latest photo shoot attempt...

Wow, quite the experience! Are encounters with bears common where you live? Any people getting killed?

How did he get in, was your door open?

Back door was open, its not uncommon for them to get in the trash, but they dont go inside often. And theyre generally harmless around here. Im a little cautious getting near them outside, but being cornered in my bedroom got the adrenalin going pretty good.

Well I'll be. Dang. California? I have heard they are getting bolder and a tad more agressive, maybe from the combo of encroaching humans and the last year of lock downs with less humans around. I know the animals in the forest up here in OR seemed to be more comfortable roaming openly in the last year. Birds too.

And yeah, shooting it in the face with anything other than a hunting round would likely just result in pissing it off and getting you mauled, and killing kinda sucks, yeah. I do carry a .9mm when I am camping, but it's for rednecks, not bear or cougar.

Holy Schnikeys! I really thought this was some sort of metaphor... but nope, that's bear poop lol. We used to have one that would break into the campers when I lived in Willow Creek, CA. Bold little bastards. Glad you're safe

Ive got my phone all charged and ready to go tonight, after seeing it outside a couple times, turns out its not a grizzly, kinda small bear. Sure looked big when i was cornered in my bedroom though.
