I'm glad all of this works perfectly under Mac OS and *nix since ALL DMT adventurers use solely Windows OS....
Yes, truly glad.

I'd like to help with this project, if possible. I'm working with PHP/MySQL/HTML/CSS/JS mainly, but I've also programmed in Python and C# so I guess my skills are flexible. Let me know if and how I can contribute, I'd be very glad to do so!

I just found the source for the Enigmaticus again, I might setup a new repository for this in the future. In the mean time people can take a peak at the source code with the attached file.

You need Visual Studio 2010, the Silverlight 5 SDK and the Silverlight 5 Developer (runtime) to play with this.

Kind regards,

The Traveler

Thanks, Trav! Everything worked with the tools you mentioned from the first run. Looks cool so far, I just need to absorb some Silverlight docs and I'll be on my way. I'll just start by playing around and see exactly how the whole thing works. Is there a specific objective at the time being?

Now that the new frontpage is gonna have the Mystery-link, I was initially thinking it would link to the finished enigmaticus which would start out like mentioned in the OP, with a dark and simple command line interface, and you would "hack" it and get deeper into the mystery, with audiovisual elements increasing and things getting weird... But I guess it's still gonna take a while until it's finished, the programming or art won't be the problem I think the problem currently is coming up with a concrete outline of how the interface can evolve and what sort of things you can do.. That's always the hard part but after that would be done, things would get rolling a bit more.

But in the meanwhile, I was thinking it could link to the current enigmaticus as a temporary solution ..? so I made a sort of christmasy version of it with snowflakes and stuff, and fixed the interface a bit and added some randomization to the textures.. heres a preview http://daeda.orgfree.com/enigmaticus/

You know what would be great? If the enigmaticus could be revived for the oculus rift!
