Love this thread Thumbs up I am hoping to get some feedback and hope this is an appropriate thread. I did Kash's Tek and it went very well (Only differed in using lye and pulled with xylene). My final product glowed well. I am curious, however that I didn't get a very good outcome due to very little residue in the final evap. Does anyone know what type of residue should be left after final evap? I had next to nothing. It smelled not like spice but different (not good with describing smells, sorry). And was maybe a tan or reddish color. If I scraped it up, it would probably have been .01 mg. Anyone have any suggestions/input?

110 HBWS, coffee grinder
Mag stir in 100ml acetone (3x for total 2 days), filtered and discarded solids
Evaped, then 100mL water/citric at pH 3.5 mag stirred for 3 hours,
filters solids, based to 9.5 with lye
pulled (3x) with xylene (mag stir for 30 min each time)
Base turned greenish at this point
Evaped xylene to dryness, very little tan or reddish colored residue/film
Shown below dissolved in 10 ml water and 8 ml 96% ethanol (vodka) pinch of tartaric

Thanks in advance.

Well, that looks good to me. Did you TRY it, thats is the Question Laughing
I know it can be a brave thing to try ones finla product, I myself having had to do so many times ..but, you know, I dont want to hurt anyone so I try it first
How else will you know if you did it right?
Unless you're a Chemist
If that is just water/ethanol and your extract, glowing flourescent blue under blacklight, like it should, I'd say its safe[r] to try..please let Us know because if so, I would like to try that tek Rolling eyes

I respect the hell out of chemists...

I respect the hell out of anyone who knows what the f*ck they're doing in their respective field of expertise...

However, no one knows anything for sure...

If you think or believe you might know something for sure, you seriously have not taken enough psychedelic journeys.

All the peace in the world to all of you!!!
