After about a year of administrating this forum I've seen it grow from a little but potential site to the current size it is now.

To show you what I mean I'll throw you some numbers:
Bandwidth used Januari 2007: 1.5GB
Bandwidth used Januari 2008: 165.0GB

Unique visitors Januari 2007: 765
Unique visitors Januari 2008: 10706

Now, since we also have a growing number of posts a day I though it might be a good idea to start some new forum entries:

1. Hyperspace Tavern: Here we can talk about anything but DMT and entheogens like hobbies, the weather, etc.
2. Other Entheogens: Here were we can talk about non-DMT entheogens like Salvia, Shrooms, etc.

I hope you all enjoy the new entries.

Hi Traveler, I like the idea of none DMT subjects and I very much like the idea of no spam. Thankyou. There are features from the old board that I do miss though. I really liked the "view topics/posts since last visit" and the "view all your own posts" functions. Is there any chance that these will be returned?

Thank you for your suggestions.

You can view the "view topics/posts since last visit" by clicking the "Active Topics" link. In there you can select (its default though) the topics/posts since your last visit.

The "view all of your own topics" I have to integrate over there as well, this will take some time but it will be there.

I was actually just hoping for these new topics the other day...We're a community of enthusiasts, and there's no rule that says we can't talk about things other than our namesake. I'm definitely glad we're growing in size and hospitality I suppose this is a sort of belated anniversary/birthday for the forum

Well since we are expanding shouldnt we have more than just two ranks so we dont have a bunch of hyperspice travelers roaming maybe other ranks like machine elves or extraction wizard just a thought

I personally like having varied ranks; it gives me an incentive to contribute more often and feel like I'm progressing through levels of knowledge within the community. I'm certainly no good at coming up with things like that, but I'm supportive of adding more. Machine Elf would be a good addition

And what about members of the community who are well versed in a particular topic? Is there a function that supports custom ranks to highlight those individuals' expertise?

Who would you like to recommend for what type of expertise?

Yes I like it, and it's good to restrict to entheogens, because the other drugs will attract bad attention.
